Amy and James had a beautiful June wedding day at Combermere Abbey in Cheshire. We worked with them on our Full Wedding Planning Service helping them plan everything from suppliers to logistics.

Amy and James fell in love with the venue upon their site visit and knew that Combermere Abbey would be their wedding venue. They wanted an English Country Garden style wedding with an outdoor ceremony if possible. Combermere Abbey has the most beautiful outdoor maze for ceremonies but also a Greenhouse if the weather is poor. Unfortunately, thanks to British weather the morning of the wedding was a wet and rainy one! We decided to hold the ceremony indoors and it was dressed beautifully with flowers from Verdure Floral Design. The weather definitely didn’t dampen the day! During the ceremony and drinks reception there was music from pianist Andrea Lambelle and luckily it dried up enough to be able to have some outdoor pictures.

After this, the Wedding Breakfast took place in the Marquee on the grounds of Combermere Abbey. With gorgeous green and white florals decorating the room and glassware and charger plates from Whitehouse Crockery it looked beautiful. They decided to do a Tapas Family-Style menu so guests would share the different dishes on their table which really went down well.

Luckily, the weather had turned into a gorgeous Summer Sunset so the photographer and videographer Perfect Moment Films were able to enjoy the early evening light.

The evening entertainment was provided by Hotstepper and people rarely left the dancefloor! The only time they did leave was to see a gorgeous Firework Display outside that looked incredible above the venue.
